Owner's Remarks:
It is with great honor that we introduce you to our beloved
Curly Stallion, Sandor. Sandor is our up and coming stallion
prospect here at Skygazer Ranch. Sandor hails from Shelly
White's of Curly Standard Place in Summerland Canada!
He is sired by the Curly Sporthorse stallion, Sandman's
Magic, and out of Aursovains Legacy (a Dutch Warmblood/Arabian
mare going back to the influential Dutch Warmblood sire
Pion.) He was born June 16, 2008 and is a lovely bay Curly
Warmblood colt who should mature to 15.2HH.
Sandor
has exemplary movement and conformation; he is uphill,
forward moving, fluid, balanced, and graceful. His gaits
embody correct movement; great reach, suspension and
extension, powerful piston like hock action along with
controlled collection and coupled with powerful and
ground covering strides!! His form is impeccable over
jumps. Sandor is magnificent to behold in motion or
repose. He also has lovely curls coating his body; ringlets
in his mane and tail, tiny curls in his ears, ringlets
in fetlocks, along with curls throughout his body coat
in winter, shedding to a sleek body coat in the summer.
Sandor is a charismatic young stallion with a lot of
presence. He has a gorgeous, old soul quality to his
eyes and carries himself with 'The Look of Eagles'.
Sandor has an exceptional mind and temperament; he's
extremely trusting, responsive, sensitive, and in-tune
with his handler, he retains his lessons, and is a delight
to be around and work with. Sandor is quiet for the
Vet and Farrier, along with other handlers working with
him in a variety of ground work exercises.
We
have extremely high hopes for Sandor as our future Sporthorse
competition and stud horse here at Skygazer Ranch!!
Sandor will be very competitive in any arena; dressage,
jumping, eventing, not only because he was bred for
it, but also because he holds the heart for it and possesses
that extra special "it" factor. Look for Sandor
here in the Pacific Northwest competing in-hand through
the 2010 show season.
Sandor
will be bred to a select few mares in the Spring of
2010 for his first foals in 2011. If you are interested
in a Sandor sired foal, please call or e-mail for more
information. AI
(Fresh cooled) or In-Hand, Live Cover breedings offered
for a limited, Negotiable stud fee, to proven mares
for the 2010 breeding season."
