Owner's Remarks:

*Intrige is a very correct young stallion with the uphill movement, superior conformation, plus the reach and suspension of a young warmblood. As an added bonus, he comes in a very curly, colorful package. He is an exciting young prospect with the brains, disposition and movement to be a spectacular sporthorse.

*Intrigue was inspected by CSI in 2007 and earned the recognition as the only stallion in CSI history to be entered in the Elite Stud Book. In addition to being the only Elite stallion in history, he has the distinction of having all of his inspected foals earning First Premium status. His foals earned both the 2007 Young Stock Site Champion and Reserve Champion, and one other of his foals tied in score with the Reserve Champion, but lost the reserve championship on a tie breaker.

Intrigue has been started under saddle, however, personal health issues has delayed his dressage training. With luck, we will be able to resume his training and get in a few shows in 2008. We also hope to have frozen semen available to outside mares for the 2008 breeding season.

So far *Intrigue has produced 100% curls, two foals out of non Curly mares and two foals out of curly mares. He has one foal due in 2008. Some people say that micro curled horses are homozygous for curls, so we are looking forward to testing out this theory with *Intrigue. If the theory is true, he will be a rare stallion as very few are homozygous and also have a mane and tail. For those of you who don't care for the "extreme" look, *Intrigue could be just the ticket!
