Dressage Awards
CSI HOY
in Driven Dresssage is determined by scores earned, based
on high percentage average at each level.
Both
schooling and rated events/shows can be counted toward HOY
awards. To qualify as a "show" standard tests must
be driven and the classes must be placed with awards (ribbons
awarded).
In order for dressage tests to count, they must be dated and
signed by the judge, including the name of the horse AND driver.

There is a $20 nomination fee
payable to CSI for each level, per division for CSI HOY awards.
Life time nomination for HOY
awards: $200 (Horse is permanently nominated for future years,
must maintain current membership without lapse. This applies
to any HOY award participation, not just this division. This
is transferable to a new owner but not to a new horse.
A minimum of 5 scores per level must be submitted
to qualify for HOY awards. Minimum score of 58% or higher
to qualify. The total average of all submitted scores must
be 60% or higher to earn the award. (Rule
Change as of 2010 competition year).
Copies of the dressage tests must be submitted to the CSI
office. If
the dressage score comes from an ADT, HDT or CDE (in the form
of penalties), it will be converted to a standard dressage
percentage for the purproses of using it in the average for
awards purposes.
Test sheets (original or all sides photocopied) including
judges signature, must be submitted to the CSI office, postmarked
within 15 days of the date on the dressage sheet. Tests must
be current year's dressage tests.
Driven Dressage HOY will include Junior/Young Entry, Amateur
& Open awards at the following divisions:
Training
Preliminary
Intermediate
Advanced
In the
case of pairs, tandem or teams, all horses, ponies or VSE
must be registered with CSI, excluding the Breeding Improvement
division. One nomination fee applies for the pair, tandem
or team but all participating animals need to be named in
the nomination. There will be no substitutions allowed mid
season.
